Purpose: For automatic filling and packaging into 3-seam "Stick" sachets from roll-fed film.

Products: Vegetable oil, vinegar, coffee and juice concentrates, syrups, fertilizers, dietary supplements, agrochemicals, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products, soy sauce, tomato paste, ketchup, mayonnaise, honey, energy gels, shampoo, shower gel, jam, condensed milk, and other similar products.

Packaging Materials: BOPP films, laminates, laminated paper, multilayer films. Film thickness: from 20 to 70 µm.

Operating Principle: The film is unwound from the roll and passes through a tension roller, a photo mark detection unit, and a slitting knife, where it is cut lengthwise into three equal strips. Each strip is guided to a collar-type forming device, where it is shaped into a tube. The longitudinal (center) seams are sealed. Next, the horizontal sealing jaws seal the film with two transverse seams and cut between them. At this stage, the previous sachets are sealed, and the bottom seams of the next sachets are formed. Once the new sachets are formed, the machine sends a signal to the dosing unit to dispense the product. The product is delivered through filling tubes into the prepared sachets. Simultaneously, the sachets are pulled to the required length. The sachet length is controlled either by the photo mark printed on the film or, if the film has no photo mark, by a preset length configured on the machine. After the filling and pulling steps are completed, the machine initiates the next automatic cycle — sealing the previous sachets and forming the bottoms of the next ones.

Operator’s Tasks: The operator monitors the product level in the hopper, installs the film, adjusts the dose and other variable parameters. The finished sachets are collected and packed into group packaging (if the group packaging module is not installed).
